What Are Some Good Places To Fly Fish For Trout In New Zealand?

Is one island better than the other for fishing? What are some other things to do in New Zealand? Planning on being there for at least a month.

Rangitata is prob one of the best rivers in NZ for fly fishing for trout or salmon. Lake Taupo is great for rainbow trout.

    taupo for fishing, North island for beaches, south island for scenery
    go to queenstown, heaps of stuff to do there like bungee, shotover jet boat etc
