I dont want the maggots to eat my fish from the inside lol
Thanks
Im getting the maggots from a fishing shop..they are sold as bait.
Thanks for your answers
No idea about a Leopard Gecko, but I did try this on Goyder Rainbow. They ate the maggots no problem, but they came out the other end exactly the same only minus their antennae. I’m fairly sure if your fish are big enough to swallow them they will, but whether they can digest them would be subject to experiment.
yes to both questions,,where are you getting the maggots

I would imagine it being ok. If the maggots are eaten, they will die in the stomach. They wont be able to eat their way out. They should actually be really nutritional for both animals.

the fish may be ok, but I would find out how the maggots are raised. also, the gecko might not eat them, ive only ever had mine eat mealworms and crickets. actually, its been scientificlly proven that leopard geckos fed exclusively on mealworms live significantly longer.
