The only surface lure i use is a jitterbug. The make the best for water adjitation. For using near weeds or lilypads, The have a rear bi hook and is semi weedless and works great!

The YUM Buzz Frog is an excellent lure for all species of bass, but I’m not sure about catfish or carp. Normally those two species are livebait eaters. That’s not to say that anglers won’t catch the occassional catfish or carp on the unique lure, but it’s intended for bass fishermen.

idk i’ve tried both cuz i liked the results i got w/ both of em, after trying em for quite awhile i found i always get more bites and bigger bites with the buzzfrog

Talk about fishing, I work with an old man and he fishes with his brother all the time. He told me they put WD-40 on his worm bait and what happens it leads a trail to the bait and the fish go right to it. The other day his brother alone caught 82 catfish IN ONE DAY and has the record for catching the biggest one OFFSHORE at our lake! OFFSHORE!, can you believe that? If y’all fish, try it and let us know your results….crazy what you learn these days…

I used this frog before and honestly have to say the Zoom Toad is much better. It’s alot softer and just has a better action. The yum buzz frog is really stiff and runs crooked alot. I’d buy the zoom frogs and that’s all you need.

Great Product, I have put a ton of fish in the boat with the same frog, I enjoy using the Mustad 5/0 and normally skin hook the frog however I never thought to use it on a jig. Thx for the tips, keep them coming….

I don’t do too well with these, they tend to right upside down 50% of the time, and I can never get the feet to work well. Try the stanley ribbit, strike king ragetail frog, or the zoom toad.
