if u are facing the …
if u are facing the river sideways and the current flows from right to left, you do the false casts and then, on the final cast, just when the line is about to touch the water you lean your rod fully to the right, almost at a 90 degree angle. This deposits the line ahead of the current, allowing for more travel without drifting. Now just follow the current with the rod tip. Search for vids on how to do the extra mends after the cast, for more travel. Cheers!
