You may be surprised at how good the Shimano Talica actually is when you have a look at it. Fishing reels that are quality and are worth the money usually do not come in fancy packaging and usually do not look all that fancy. Shimano when making this reel didn’t put too much energy into making an expensive looking reel which might night match with performance. They made a reel which practically does most of the hard work for you but a far cry from those reels with the electonics which do it all for you. For the price of this reel you can not really go wrong I think.

To tell the truth: The greatest fishermen we know can’t really afford to purchase expensive fishing tackle. Even if we did, the incredible variety of reels, rods, and other fishing gear makes it very difficult to choose just the right tackle for our needs and preferences. If you think like I do, you would certainly take pleasure from striding into a brisk, chilly stream, and casting your line into it.
