With
fly fishing tackle, I would definitely qualify as a curmudgeon. Just what is a curmudgeon? Well, according to an old dictionary I found, it’s a “crusty, irascible, cantankerous person full of stubborn ideas.”. I very much like the description, “stubborn ideas” as I take this to mean I am in favour of the conventional, demonstrated means of fly fishing. Over a period of time, this tetchy fisherman has bought a large collection of fishing supplies, but no matter what, I return to purchasing Hardy products. Read on for a brief review of one of my favourites: the Bougle MK VII (MK7) reel.

To tell the truth: The greatest fishermen we know can’t really afford to purchase expensive fishing tackle. Even if we did, the incredible variety of reels, rods, and other fishing gear makes it very difficult to choose just the right tackle for our needs and preferences. For example, those are my exact circumstances. I don’t have a fortune; therefore, I need to choose wisely when it comes to gear. My pals reprove me because I’m so penny-pincher, but that’s just me.
